About Easy Cyber Protection

ECP makes NIS2 and CyFun compliance reachable for every Belgian SME, through their trusted IT partner. The only platform built native on CyberFundamentals, white-label for MSPs, with client data staying local.

Tom has 20+ years across IT and innovation management, including Eurocontrol (the organisation behind European air traffic) and Belgian SMEs. ECP is built from that double perspective: knowing how serious compliance actually works, and knowing what an SME with a handful of people can realistically carry.

NIS2 and CyFun change that picture for thousands of Belgian SMEs. Most compliance tooling is built for CISOs in large organisations, not for the IT partner who inherits the file. ECP exists because that gap kept widening.

How this started

4,000+ Belgian organisations have to demonstrate NIS2 compliance, most via CyberFundamentals. And all of their SME suppliers in the supply chain need to show baseline cyber-hygiene too. The market reality: existing compliance tooling is built for CISOs at large enterprises, not for the Belgian SME with a handful of people. Nobody was really serving these SMEs.

And SMEs don't solve IT problems by buying a platform themselves. They call their trusted IT partner. That was the insight: don't build for the end client, build for the MSP who's been serving them for years. White-label, CyFun-native, with compliance data living locally on the client's network. The MSP delivers audit-readiness under their own brand.

The first pilot ran at a Belgian MSP, where an intern implemented audit-readiness for the MSP itself as a thesis project. That MSP is now onboarding their first SME client through ECP.

What we built

Three structural choices that make ECP a CyFun-native product rather than a re-skin of generic GRC tooling:

1

Graph-based

Every control, every entity, every piece of evidence is connected. Auditors ask graph questions; ECP answers from one model.

2

White-label + MSP guidance

Step-by-step CyFun guidance is built in. MSPs deliver compliance to SMEs under their own brand, without prior compliance expertise.

3

Local-first wiki + event-sourced

Every control is a linked wiki page on the client's network. Event-sourced, with each change digitally signed on the ECP server for audit integrity.

What we publish alongside the platform

Alongside the platform, three reading channels run on a single curated knowledge base, in NL/FR/EN. CyberLearn (the reference library on CyFun and NIS2) and CyberWeekly (the Wednesday digest for MSPs) are public and free. The weekly micro-learning ships to the SME end clients of our MSP partners, as part of their ECP offering. Three audiences, one source.

The editorial system that keeps all of that current, in three languages, is documented on its own page. Same principle the platform runs on: I set the architecture, the sources and the rules; AI fills the details under review.

How we work: AI skills

Solo founder + AI + CyFun consultants + advisors.

A long, honest look behind the curtain. 9 sample skills out of a stack of 35, with character sheets, framework tables, code excerpts, and a Ryan Reynolds pitch deck shipped in 9 minutes.

Warning: it gets technical. And it might change your read on what one person with AI can actually ship.

What we stand for

  • One founder, no helpdesk layer. You get the person who builds the product on the line.
  • No tracking, no ads, no Google Analytics. Your content is not used to train AI models.
  • Belgian-rooted: NL, FR and EN, based in Zottegem, East Flanders. #CyberLearn.
  • Open about the facts: NIS2 numbers, control counts and framework data come straight from the source. See #CyberLearn.
