Terms of Service

Short version: you pay for a subscription to Easy Cyber Protection (ECP). We make you audit-ready; the audit itself is done by an accredited auditor (CAB). Your data is yours and you can leave at any time. Below is the slightly longer version - in plain language, no legal blocks.
Who we are
Easy Cyber Protection (ECP) is a product of Core bv, a Belgian company with VAT number BE 0861.455.911. "We" and "us" refer to Core bv. "You" refers to you as a user, or to the organisation you represent.
What you get
A subscription to the ECP software: a CyFun compliance engine for MSPs and direct customers, with policy documents, evidence management, AI assistance and reports. What is in each plan and what it costs is set in your partner contract or quote.
What we promise (and what we don't)
We do our best to keep ECP available, secure and useful. We do not promise 100% uptime - no one honestly does - but if something breaks we tell you about it. Important: ECP makes you audit-ready. We are not auditors and we do not issue compliance certificates. That is done by an accredited Conformity Assessment Body (CAB).
How you can use ECP
Mostly common sense. Don't: break the law, attack others, resell access without a partner agreement, scrape or reverse-engineer, or knowingly overload the system. If you are an MSP partner, you can absolutely use ECP to serve your own clients - that is literally the point.
Your data and your exit
What you put into ECP stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your policies, your evidence or your client data. ECP is local-first: by default everything sits in a .ecpbundle.zip on your own machine. In cloud mode it sits encrypted with an EU-based cloud provider. At any time you can pull a full export and leave, without needing our help. How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.
Payment and cancellation
Subscriptions are monthly or yearly (annual gets a 10% discount). You can cancel any time - your access runs to the end of the paid period, with no refund for unused days. If you stop paying, we pause your account after a reminder; we will not delete data without warning you.
Liability
In plain words: if we mess up, our liability is capped at what you have paid us in the last 12 months. We are not responsible for indirect damages (lost profits, lost clients, reputational harm). If you are an MSP partner and something goes wrong at your end client because of ECP, we work with you on a fix - but the relationship with your end client is and stays yours.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a material way, we email you at least 30 days in advance. Don't agree? You can cancel before they take effect and we refund the unused part of your subscription.
Law and disputes
Belgian law applies. If we cannot work it out, the courts of the East Flanders judicial district (Oudenaarde division) have jurisdiction. Honestly though: call or email us first - 99% of "legal" problems get sorted by a conversation.
