Search: Find Anything with Cmd+K

The command palette lets you jump to any page, control, or action in the platform. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from anywhere.

What you can find

  • Wiki pages — policies, procedures, plans, and control pages (searched by title and content)
  • Navigation — Dashboard, Roadmap, Reports, Assessments, and other app sections
  • Actions — quick actions like "New document" or "Export report"

How to use

  1. Press Cmd+K or Ctrl+K from any page
  2. Start typing your search query
  3. Use arrow keys to navigate results, Enter to open
  4. Press Esc to close

Smart search features

The search uses full-text search with BM25 ranking, which means:

  • Relevance ranking — results are sorted by how well they match, not just recency. Title matches rank higher than content matches.
  • Typo tolerance — minor spelling mistakes still find the right results (e.g., "bakcup" still finds "backup").
  • Content snippets — wiki page results show a preview of matching content, not just the title, so you can see which page has what you need.

Tips

Be specific — "backup recovery procedure" finds the exact page faster than "backup"
Use keywords — search by control ID (e.g., "PR-AC-01"), topic ("password policy"), or content
Mobile — on mobile, the search is available via the search icon in the navigation bar
